Currently, all positions are volunteer-based. As a startup animation studio, we are in the process of securing funding. Our team is made up of passionate artists dedicated to creating work that uplifts Black voices in animation and media.

Yes. While roles are unpaid for now, everyone who contributes to our current and future projects will be compensated once funding is secured. We carefully track all work to ensure that team members are paid appropriately.​

 Studio Moyo was born from Black N Animated and exists to celebrate and amplify Black creativity through fun, meaningful storytelling. We’re currently producing our first original short film while building a space where diverse voices in animation can thrive.
